Very brave. I would not dare trying to drive the Daytona through London on a weekday.

| Yes, it is. She won't make it easy for you. Numb sole, cramped leg, sure takes a tole. I would say thirty minutes in stop and go is tolerable. Yesterday coming home was over an hour in regular street traffic alone. At least the weather was nice. w/ smiles Jimmy

| If you are asking from what I have now, it is a difficult call between Dino and 275. For pure driving pleasure all around would be Dino. For pure timeless beauty, maybe 275. But then, I consider Dino as a timeless beauty also. Did I answer the question ? w/ smiles Jimmy

While on the subject, have you had any more thoughts on your garage filler. Boxer? A guy from my local FOC took his 612 to the DK open day, I asked him what he thought of it , he said, very fast, the cheap Fiat style electrical switch's where always going wrong, plus he said, he could not relax for a second when driving it because it wandered a lot ! This was his first Ferrari though, he was told he had cancer in his leg, so his first reaction was to go to the nearest Ferrari dealer! Grant |

Since I took few new pics of Daytona, I thought I ought to just post them. Mechanical wise, Daytona is doing fine, no major concerns at the moment. Probably, if I have the suspension bushings and so forth redone, she should be in much better shape, but I am happy with the way it is now. w/ smiles Jimmy Last edited by Jimmy Chen Shiba DDS; 12-31-2010 at 06:59 PM. | Not to worry, wheels1, that One Day is soon upon and when that time comes, heck, your Daytona would be SOOOO fabulous that even taking macro shots of parts would be such a treat because your car would be better than the orginal built. I don't know how you can do it, being so patient and putting so much into it. I certainly do not possess such virtue. You are going to be one of the proudest Daytona owner. Can't wait to see that. w/ smiles Jimmy

Looking good. Do you have a shot of the 275, Daytona, 365 BB, and Dino all together?

| No, there's logistic problems of being the sole driver and finding a picturesque open spot is rather difficult where I live. This is the closest thing I have, Boxer. w/ smiles Jimmy

Jimmy. Thanks. The three look great together and easy to see the similarities and evolution. Parking looks to be very tight and must take a lot of patience.

No problem at all, Boxer. Parking is pain and struggle, indeed. I have to admit that sometimes I feel like being back in LA. But then, traffic in LA has turned from bad to hopeless nowadays. But at least, for what I paid for my modest house here in Yokohama, I would have had a much better deal in Southern California, especially with the current real estate, which probably would head further south this year. w/ smiles Jimmy PS. If I did not have a family and if I were single, I would never have bought a house in Japan. (Well, that's another whole new thread, I guess). |

| So good to hear from you, colonel1961 ! Thanx, and as you can see, space is tight but I can park another car perpendicular to the four lined in a row there, leaving only few inches in between. For sure, with care, but you do get used to the chores. As you can see, my house is along a hill and the road infront is narrow and slopped. This requires extreme care when I back into the carport (backing uphill), especially the RUF, to pamper the "delicate" clutch it has. w/ smiles Jimmy |
