Very bizarre, I see a Sears truck in the background as well. Tornado or Hurricane knocking down an old barn the cars were in? Don't know the actual story.

Someone said they thought it was in either North or South Carolina but didn't know any details.

For me, it's seems obvious that this photo was taken a very long time ago. But I don't know the story.

Believe it was hurricane damage back in the 80's

this is one of the storage "facilities" owned by eccentric collector Walt Medlin in Florida. The the photo is at least 10-15 years old and shows the building after a hurricane (I forget which one) rolled thru Florida. May of the cars pictured have since been sold.

Truth. And IIRC, it was Hurricane Andrew rather than Charley as the article states. However, I could be confused.
