Default Ferrari GTOs at Willow Springs &...

Here is footage shot by Peter Helm of my GTO--along with those of Chris Cord and Mario Tosi--at Willow Springs Raceway and in the canyons of Los Angeles back in the day. I saw this footage, which has been in storage since the 60s, for the first time a couple of months ago.

Fantastic coverage, great (purple) music, fits perfectly. I hardly can wait for the whole movie ! Is this project still in the makings or any alterations to it ?
Thanks a lot for sharing !

You're not the only one, 4153GT was driven in the Tour Auto this year. Very nice to see it out and about for a couple of days being driven in the spirit it was intended to.

Thanks again for the great video material!

Steve, you simply amaze me. One can only dream such things. Bunch of wild "boys" with wild toys. Lovely shots and something I can only dream of, obviously. Thank you for sharing your moments with us earthlings. Thoroughly entertaining. Would have been perfection if engine sounds went with the film. Thanx !!! w/ smiles Jimmy

Everything seems so dramatic and unreal, as if it is straight out of a movie ! What is unbelievable is that indeed everything was real and represented that surreal, special era. The closest parallel that I can think of is the movie, Easy Rider (?), where Peter Fonda et al overlaps w/ the wild bunch here. Indeed, it is unbelievable that you went thru Lusso, GTO, E Type, etc. at such an early age, it is the SPIRIT of the time that is so amazing and something that catches my heart. Thank You, Steve, for sharing your cherished moments with us. w/ smiles Jimmy
