Put a smaller less noisy squirrel in there.

I'm a little stumped. I would have said to check both the wheel bearing and brake system as you did. Having replaced both I'm kind of scratching my head. I'm assuming when you changed brakes you mean the break disc. It may be the pads. Anti squeal on the back of the pads might be in order. Or if the pads have the metal extension most common pads have to alert you when they are getting low has some how gotten bent and is in constant contact with the disc that may be causing it.

Default 360 WHEEL NOISE

COULD IT BE THE PARKING BRAKE SHOES, THEY ARE ALSO NEW. CAR HAS ONLY 4500 MILES ON IT.

[quote="Stradale"]360NUT, you could have answered your own question.

IF I STOP THE CAR USING THE PARKING BRAKE WILL THAT ACTION CAUSE THE NOISE TO STOP.WILL THE NEW BRAKES SEAT BETTER? WHEN I STOP THE CAR USING THE PARKING BRAKE THE SAME NOISE GETS LOUDER. PLEASE ADVISE

That won't solve your problem, I think. Remove the pads from the parking brake calipers and check them Perhaps there are some particles trapped on them that cause the noise! If there is then you'd save yourself a rotor disc bcause the particle can scratch the disc and damage it if you use the parking brakes to slow down the car. Beisdes it's not effective to stop the car using your hand brake.

You seem to have confirmed it is a brake problem - if the noise changes while using the handbrake OR footbrake (try forwards & reverse) then this should rule-out any hub / bearing problem. Does the noise still occur with the wheel off the ground & spun by hand? If so it should be easier to diagnose - just take the wheel off & try to locate the noise source. Start removing bits 1 at a time (eg handbrake assembly, etc) until the noise goes. Maybe it's just a squeal that needs some lube (eg back of pads), or maybe it's something actually contacting that shouldn't.

It may be the hat over the transaxle. Mine was at the dealer to get updated bearings and selas and they didn't put it together correctly. When shop foreman and I went for a ride to confirm the noise, he actually turned engine off and while the car was rolling the noise was still there. He said "I know what it is..."
