F430 yellow calipers

Hi guys. I have enjoyed reading this forum for over a year and would like to introduce myself and ask a question. Some of the members are unbelievably well informed so here it goes. I own a 06 430 spider and have novitec nf3 wheels. My calipers are black and the rims are silver. See belowName: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353344684.044003.jpg

Are all of the factory yellow colors the same or are there ones that pop more? (Like the one below) Does anyone have the paint code? Thank you.

All the calipers were painted Giallo Modena. If you look in the 575M and Superamerica Technical Thread sticky, there is a post with color chips showing the PPG paint code for Giallo Modena. My calipers were painted that color.

^ like I said. You guys know your stuff. Thank you very much. Do you think it would look bad or devalue the car if I went with a non factory yellow that is glossier or brighter. Thanks.

Can't imagine it would make a huge difference in value - to a buyer, yellow is yellow. They'll either like it or they won't. But, for now, it's YOUR car, right? You paid the money, so you deserve to have it the way YOU love it. Painting them a shade of yellow other than Giallo Modena shouldn't kill your ability to sell the car.

By the way, you have a very nice car.

The owner before me painted the calipers yellow which were originally red.

Look great. Be sure and put a coat of clear coat over the yellow to protect the decals. These are mine that were repainted to put on Ferrari decals. Color is Giallo Modena PPG code 84028.

Tazandjan Yours look perfect! I gave them that color code, but my calipers look paler than yours. Do you think it's because it does not have a clear coat.

Could be just the range from the camera, too. Mine match the wheel centers pretty closely.

Those look great and really dress up a Ferrari. Mine were originally red.

I really think the yellow looks great on many differnt body colors. Mine are silver, and simply blend too much for my taste. Where are the decals available from? Do they hold up well as long as clear is applied?

Thank you

Agreed. Yellow calipers really grab me. They are like the shields. A small detail that really stands out.

I love the black scoops

I think... Please post more pictures when able. I have wondered about the contrast vs not myself.

Nice work.

Rich- You can find the decals just by doing a search on the internet and E-Bay. I probably have 50 or so I bought trying to find the correct size and lettering for the Billet and Ceramic, as well as the Ferrari script. Once clear coated, no problem.
