Default Tyre flat spots

Hi,
Friend of mine has had to replace a tyre on his Noble. He was informed that it was caused by flat spots due to long storage in same position.
Have you lads had any problem with this and what was the solution ?

If you are to store any car for a duration then it's best to over inflate the tyre by circa 1 bar. Also a good idea to move the car monthly so it does not sit on the same piece of tread. Doing both will stop flat spots.

Life never slows in paradise....it is just much more enjoyable!

Current Toys: Ferrari California 30, Maserati MC Stradale, Range Rover.

Driving them will also prevent flat spots.

But you can get tyre pads with a rounded shape that prevent flat spots.

BTW, I have had some of my cars parked for months on end and have never experienced this problem.

I've never had flat spots that didn't go away after a few minutes of driving. This is after 4-5 months of storage. I suppose if you let a car sit for over a year it could potentially be a problem.

You could of course put the car on jack stands as well but best is to drive it.
