if you need a specialty company(if geico won't do) I use haggerty and they are big sponsors of car events.

While not a Ferrari owner yet, I have had many other specialty vehicles insured through Haggerty over the years, and they do a great job. Plus, if the car is not your DD, they have some very affordable rates that assume a max # of miles every year. | |

| +1 for GEICO in CA on exotics. I used them on both F-cars and was super cheap. I'm now with Grundy (stated value policy) but may switch to Hagerty when it's time to renew.

Two years ago, Hagerty turned me down because my daily friver was too old. A 2000 Ford truck. That is what they told me when I called to find out why they would not insure me. I have Allied now. Nate |

AAA offers killer deals on auto & homeowner policies (in TX anyway). They quoted me around 50% of what I'm paying State Farm for the total cars + homeowner package. Both wifey and I have perfect driving records, and we've been with SF for 20+ years, and the only claim we've ever submitted has been on the homeowner's insurance when Ike came through a few years ago. I just have no idea how AAA are in a claim situation, which is why I haven't switched. For our Ike damage, SF was right there with the go ahead for a new roof, while some of our other neighbors were being jerked around. '99 550, Rosso Corsa / Nero, S/N:114654, Assy: 31836, Engine: 52084 High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars. |

| yup, if they suspect that you are reasonably going to drive the Collectible as anything close to a DD, they'll deny it. As such, they want to see the DD is something new / reliable. or something.
