I too am looking at my first Ferrari. I am looking at an '01 and the service records indicate work on the cams in '08 and just this August. Is this okay or an indicator of a problem?

Could be either, if you are seriously interested in car I would be a detailed PPI done on it.

That could easily be just a cam belt change which is scheduled to be performed every 3 years. Might just be an indication it has been serviced on schedule.


You really need at this point, an expert on the 360 local to you to educate and advise you and when the time comes, inspect the prospective car.

Welcome to Ferrari Life. If you go to ferraridatabase.com, you can download an owners manual, workshop manual and all kinds of 360 stuff. Does not have all the answers, but will have a maintenance schedule you can check against the records. One of us would be glad to go through the records for you, too, and see what we find.
