And yes, he strikes back, he retaliates, I wondered how long it would take you Mark, that'll teach me to spar with someone who has over the top OCD like you have with your fixation on George Michael. Like I told you last time, Im awfully sorry but I just cant help you with your search for GM Posters. I told you politely that last time and even though I've now rechecked my office and den all I can find is wall to wall Ferrari memorabilia, so I must stress that I definitely and categorically cannot assist you in your quest for any GM posters or relational memorabilia, so please don't ask me again! You really must get over GM obsessions, with or without therapy it's up to you, but man this obsession is affecting your life! ![]() Now let's get this thread back on track please! I get the hint of an impression there may be some sellers remorse - which could be a problem | |

| Could be, or maybe he wants a nice coupe to go with the CGT. Believe he already had a 997.1 GT3 RS too. A few guys up in Seattle have similar collections, like H2O, except his are almost all white in color.

I sincerely hope I don't get sellers remorse Doug, as once my one off Abu Dhabi's gone next week I'm sure it'll find a new home pretty quickly and then I'll have to start the hunt all over again....that would be a problem as Of the 55 RHD 16M's that came to the UK I have the breakdown of all the colours and the only colours I'd entertain would be my old one off's or Russell's and he ain't ever selling his apparently ![]() Combine this and the fact that there are only 3 16M's for sale in the UK at Official Dealerships, being 2 Black & a Yellow, with another Yellow at an Indie, means I ain't got much choice currently & if I'm going for one again, I will definitely go with an alcantara interior this time round, stitched either white, light grey or red and I wouldn't mind a white rev counter to give it a different cockpit feel, so out of the 4 above that would mean having a black car and as I live in the middle of 2,000 acres of farming countryside Black cars a huge no go for me...your colour choice is perhaps perfect, very similar to my old Bentley GT Speed, which was in a grey Bentley call Granite and it never used to show dirt or farm dust that tends to be present once the Farmers have ploughed the fields... Oh, I do hope sellers remorse is someone else's problem.... Life never slows in paradise....it is just much more enjoyable! Current Toys: Ferrari California 30, Maserati MC Stradale, Range Rover. Mark - no idea ... Eric is just a good guy! Peter I am not "ever" selling the 16M - a celebration of the 16 F1 wins is a Ferrari history lesson. This one ticked off all the boxes but not all - but considering what I saved over what is costs originally it's a fair trade off You will find another if it's your goal as the market is soon to be prime with the guys who took out the three year leases and spider buyers trading up. The 458 is a two year wait list and covers the engine bay like a Sports Illustrated bikini model wearing a turtleneck vs a wet t-shirt. So much sexy carbon cf will never be seen again in a Ferrari under 1 million dollars. |

Don't know if down the road I might add the Capristo Engine CF? Probably not, will just wait to see what the Challenge version looks like.

Too true Doug! The 16M is a very special Ferrari indeed, more so to those that have the F1 bug & passion to get the history behind it, I do and thats partly why I bought mine, the other reason I bought one so quickly, after they came out, was because I came out of my F430 Spider after only 2 months driving when my California arrived, I ordered without test driving, never again as I disliked the Cali's drive immensely and sold her within a few weeks, whilst desperately looking for a F430 Spider to jump back into for the Summer, there were none that came close to my old F430's spec, so I added a 16M on my radar and despite the huge cost difference, the more I read up, the more convinced I became that a 16M was my next 'must have' Ferrari and following the test drive, in my Blu Abu Dhabi, the rest as they say was history, it was 2010 & I had bought a keeper, I was absolutely delighted.... That was until..... Last May when I thought Id just twisted my knee whilst alighting my 16M, over the next few days my knee had doubled in size, was really painful to put any weight through, so I iced, rested and strapped it up, took some painkillers and thought how bad can a sprain be, just get on with things! A few months later in July, I was still strapped up, put it down to a manic schedule and never stopping, so at the end of a long day of being on my feet, following a Charity Motorshow I'd laid on with a few friends, it took me ages to lower in to my 16M and once home I needed help to get out. Next day I couldn't apply pressure on my knee so I went for an X-Ray and then an MRI & discovered that I'd actually torn my right knees cartilage and ruptured my cruciate ligament, it was in a proper state and thought to have been like that for a while, so I was whisked in to hospital, and following a 2.5 hour operation I awoke to find myself in a leg brace, groin to ankle, which stayed on for 8 weeks locked to a 10 degree movement daytime and 0 degree overnight! Muscle wastage and lack of flexibility meant I couldn't get into my 16M until late December, you would have laughed at me trying to get out, it took me over 30 mins! Anyhow, by then the bad weather had hit and the roads were covered in ice and salt, so I had to leave her sitting tormenting me until February this year as by then I could just about get in and out of her within 20 mins, it wasn't easy, but I was determined....by now my quad muscles had truly gone, resulting in my kneecap twisting round and grinding against my thigh bone, with every damn movement, still is & swells up every evening too! So last time I managed to drive my 16M was last July & my Physio and Surgeon have advised that my recovery will take at least this year, I feel that's just too long for me to have a beautiful Ferrari sitting still & worse, it's tormenting me, so I started looking around for a Ferrari I could get in and out of easier. I looked at a 599 HGTE but, I already had my new Maserati MC Stradale, I then thought I'd put a 360CS in my garage as a keeper, and felt that if I recover as hoped I'd treat myself to another 16M then, so I called the 360CS Dealer and after they near enough offered me it and my money back on my 16M I decided to deal, only thing was they also had a lovely F430 Spider and with Spring & Summer coming along I wanted a convertible to tempt me into and spur me along, so the deal was sealed....whether I'll be able to use her without problem will be an adventure for sure, but at least she will not torment me like my beautiful 16M would have and I can just about live with that I think!!! So my reason for coming out of my 16M is purely health related, as we all know, we get occasional curve balls thrown at us, its just how we deal with them that matters and for me I know that what Ive done is also my incentive to recover quicker as when I do another 16M will take pride and place in my garage! Enjoy your 16M Doug, it's a fantastic Supercar! Life never slows in paradise....it is just much more enjoyable! Current Toys: Ferrari California 30, Maserati MC Stradale, Range Rover. Wow, sorry to hear about your knee. Surprised you can get into an F430 Spider, but it's tougher with the 16M? Hopefully it will all heal by Summer, or by year end. Wish you a speedy recovery. Would you like to me see if I can get George Michael's to come by and serenade you? |

Peter - sorry to hear about the knee - but here is what I read after I laughed at the thought of you taking 30 minutes to exit the 16M - tuck n roll man! "Last May when I thought Id just twisted my nut whilst alighting my slut in the 16M, over and over the next few days she had doubled in size as the liquor wore off, was really sinful to put any weight through, so I iced her breasts and strapped her up, took some Viagra and thought how bad can pulling a train be, just get on with Ms Super Size thong!" Enjoy the Spider! @ Mark |

| Peter, you will of course be amongst the first I contact if ever I decide to sell, but don't hold your breath. Any chance you could share the colour breakdown of the UK 16M's, just the sort of info I love to collect.

To all the well wishers above, I thank you... Doug, my sides bust with laughter, thank you! Mark, I applaud your generosity to release your b/f to serenade me, but no thanks, but do remember to wake him up before you go go...also your continued attempts at a sense of humour are testimony to your brains condition and size...poor and pea sized....joke! Jeroen, I hope you play billiards well on a Baseball court & tennis on a football field, nothing beats a joke being translated into another language and dont worry we wouldn't take the P155 out of you! Russell, send me a PM with your email address and I'll ping you an email down with the UK Breakdown and whatever else I have electronically on file for the 16M. Do you have the 16M Alcantara Folder with the large square thick launch picture & fact cards and/or the 16M Cold Cast Bronze Model that the original owners received with their 16M's? Also, did you know a 1:43 model of your car was on eBay UK? Search under Ferrari 16M and you'll see it appear! All the best guys.... Life never slows in paradise....it is just much more enjoyable!
