Anyone - did any F-chatters in Seattle area (or otherwise) own that car? I bet stokpro knows since there is a CS in the pic (or is that his red CS...I don't recall him saying he had a 16M).

Carbon - what does your db say about the prior owners?
That's Eric's car, or Eman on Fchat. It's also Eman's avatar. Stockpro, Eman, H2Oskier, and Storybook are all close friends, they go driving a bunch together. Not sure who the owner of the Yellow CS in Seattle is, don't know if I have met him yet or not, don't think he was at the FOS FF premier a few weeks ago?

I take you are in Seattle. Do Jeremy and Jacqueline Jaech still have the yellow 360? It was a grey market Euro with 3 pedals.

I checked last night, it was available through Auto Gallery a few times when it was new, and through Cats Exotics a year or so ago (and erroneously advertised with red calipers!); but nothing suspect or unusual.

Here's a picture of the interior:

Looks exactly like my Scud interior, minus the Hi-Fi. Still can't figure out why people can't figure out how to match the brake calipers with the interior stitching. I see this more and more. Oh well, if the clear bra needs work, Premier is the best place in L.A., they can also install a great set of skid plates, and paint the calipers very well.

Better get set up with Andrew to order one of his killer floor mat sets. Just make sure you specify fire extinguisher in or out. I specified out.

It's not a requirement to match calipers to interior stitching. My 430 coupe was Rosso Corsa, had Crema leather, Bordeaux stitching and yellow calipers - perfect to me! My 16M has Bordeaux stitching and silver calipers - again perfect to me! Cars would be so boring if we all liked the same, don't you agree?

That sounds like the Breadvan story. I'd have to check my database, but a few guys drove two Ferraris from Buffalo to a few states over in the dead of winter - snow and everything. One was the Breadvan - hey, maybe the other car was a 275! Awesome!

Did it have a dark blue interior and a dark blue top and some chrome five-spoke Hamann wheels? There's a yellow Euro three-pedal Spider here in L.A. that's been to a few events; but it's been here for about two years now.

Since I like you Russell, you can spec your car however you like, but everyone else need's to stick with my model.

Pretty tough though to match the calipers on your 16M, unless you had someone do it custom, since you would have to decide if you bought it from the factory, between Rosso Scuderia, and Rosso Corsa calipers, which would still not be a match.

I've seen calipers straight from the factory that were blue and dark metallic brown. So it's possible to match the stitching, it's just a matter of knowing the right people, and being willing to stroke the check.

My second choice if not silver would have been yellow. Sorry, still not following you model.

I made the same offer, Doug said no

I got a quote to ship a 911 from LA to STL....$1800 (actually multiple quotes).

maybe Doug will change his mind...

I envision a Carbon-and-Chas road trip in the near future.

Died laughing when my son blew the engine on the 69z28

If you guys can find me a 458 Italia, for below MSRP in your area, before Wednesday morning, you can drive it up here. Walla Walla is close by and has some incredible wines. Has to have race seats, and cruise control.

Do you have a color preference? How much below MSRP? A dollar?

If you want we could get a two car discount.

Probably use Fed Ex - let me know getting quotes.

The story with Chuck was in either the FOC or Prancing Horse. If the timing was right it could have even been Cavallino as Chuck was the original editor/publisher and we are talking of about 1980.

The Jaech's 360 was Seattle and a coupe. Some of the Seattle people in tech should recognize Jeremy's name - Aldus, Visio, very briefingly Microsoft, Trumba, Verdiem.
