Have started looking for a 430 Scuderia 16M now. So far have only found one on the market with a decent color combo. Also noticed that the prices on two of the fours cars for sale in the UK just had their prices dropped by GBP 10k. I think this is going to be a long search.

| DK Engineering : Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M for sale - 1 owner - As new condition Very nice Rosso Corsa 16M! Big money though at £185k I believe. I haven't seen much of a price drop this year on 16M's, still seem to be the same price as they were 12 months ago when I got mine. Cheapest cars around £170k going up to £190 for the perfect colour combo and options. 37 left in the UK at last count. |

I normally use Carrs in Exeter who are really terrific but right now they are Scud-less. Boxer Current: F40, F50, 612, 430 Scuderia Past: 360 Modena, 360 Challenge, 550, 575, 365BB, 512BB, 456 GT, F355 GTS, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 308 GTB

Went and test drove a 16M today. Did about 20-30 minutes behind the wheel. Gearbox is very quick and the "wack" with each shift is great. So easy to get to silly speeds you need to be careful. Chassis felt very stiff and you definitely know the quality of the road. With the top down, the engine really sounds great, especially when you push it north of 5000 rpm. The engine braking is just as impressive as I remembered it to be on 212 Export's former 430 Scuderia. Steering is nicely weighted and the car changes directions and goes right where you aim it. Overall a very impressive car.

Boxer- Looks like a very nice car. I like that technical cloth on the seats and I am normally an all-leather kind of guy.

| Thanks. It did look to be a very nice car. I also thought that the tech cloth seats and CF trim fit the nature of the car nicely.

That is a beautiful 16M - been doing like research - still have not drive one yet and probably won't even if I buy it. The interiors are all great - IMO The only issue I have ran into was the alignment of the rear - if it is not a true fit the top mechanism will most likely have issues. The one I was very interested in had this issue and was already have top malfunctions and some decent repair bills. 612 Nuvolari 16M Grigio Ferro

| Had not heard of this issue. What causes it?

Boxer, 16M! Thats great news. I cant wait to see it in the spring. The 16M in yellow, along with any of the 275 variants, is my all-time favorite Ferrari. Do you recall that I called you for advice about a year ago regarding this car in the photos? I came very close to buying it but bottled out in the end. Still, if I had gone ahead then I wouldn't have Y3LOW. One day for me perhaps - in the meantime I wish you success in your search.

| Poor factory fit and or alignment - the lines / gaps around the top mechanism should be near perfect. The guy took pictures and it looked like a mess. The one I looked at had at 18k bill for the factory under warranty and 4 months later another 3k. The only other act that may cause a like issue is the top should be closed when the car is not in use. Leaving the top down for an extended period of time causes all sorts of issues in the hydraulics etc. 612 Nuvolari 16M Grigio Ferro |

| And there's the rub - If you leave it down, sooner or later you'll have mechanical issues. If you cycle it up and down often, you have creases and wear marks in the top itself. Sigh....
