Gents Took the 360 out yesterday, quick shower of rain and the windscreen wipers decided not to work. Everything else (electric and other) seems to be working perfectly. I'm hoping a fuse? Anyone know if there is a fuse that is just specific to the wipers (and if so where it might be). And yes I am being lazy. Haven't even opened the owener's manual yet... but it's Sunday and I'm tired and I know someone birghter than me might know the answer ![]() Cheers.... OK, so I've resorted to looking at the manual and still can't work it out. Wipers still not working, everything else working fine. Any advice from those with far superior knowledge than me...??? If it is not a fuse then it is either a loose connection or the wiper motor has fried. Try turning the wipers on and listening to see if the motors are making any noise.

Gents I replaced the relay for windscreen wipers (switched it with the rear heated window relay temporarily to see if it made any difference) and they still don't work. I notices that there is a second relay (relay no. 82) which in the workshop manual is described as "+30 Windscreen Wiper". Does anyone know what this relay/fuse does? I've not replaced/switched this one yet. Barry Ferrari's: 360 Modena F1, 308 GT4 Other Italians: Ducati 916, Ducati 848 DD's: RR Sport, BMW 645ci, BMW 1200GS Adv. |

No noise at all Boxer when I put on the wipers - which had me thinking a fuse? Barry Ferrari's: 360 Modena F1, 308 GT4 Other Italians: Ducati 916, Ducati 848 DD's: RR Sport, BMW 645ci, BMW 1200GS Adv.

| My guess would be fuse, relay, or a bad wire/connection. Can you check to see if the wipers are getting any power?

Life can be mysterious sometimes. Took out every fuse and relay pertaining to the windscreen wipers, and then put them all back in again (the same fuses and relays!) and hey presto the wipers are working again. Go figure!? They don't like rain ! (could be a loose connection behind the fuse box) . Current: 360 Modena Future: ? ----------------------------- 'Some people dream of success... while others wake up and work hard at it.'

I changed new wipers n used it on a rainy day. It was so new that there was so much friction that one of the wipers came undone! Fixed it since then but have resorted to a solution that does not require the use of wipers. There are Japanese rub on's that allows rain water to run off the wind screen at 40km/h. Works for me. N if I really need wipers , I mix a strong conditioner in the wiper fluid n give the wind screen a good spray to lubricate so that the wipers can slide smoothly.
