I'm actually at the shop now and must say seeing it in person it looks really good. Alex and his team are a true asset to the owners in the Toronto and surrounding area.

can you tell us some more about what we are looking at ?

Typically CF parts are (or simulate) molded designs with the CF pattern in the surface. These seem to be be something like a CF patterned material (vinyl) with stitching ? kinda like what one would do with leather ?

It's actually a Hybrid Carbon Fiber style Vinyl upholstery, very durable! It's the same stuff that BMW uses in the M-Line cars, as well as Maserati in some of the new GranTurismo's.

Not to be confused with 3M Di-Noc, or other vinyls..
This can be sewn and stitched!

You are correct , it's a hybrid carbon fiber material. Changes the look of a car's interior.

always hated the stock 360 plastic door panels. nice upgrade. not sure about the stitching in the console though.

Alex: Can you PM me on a rear-window-shelf replacement for my leather on the 456 which has gone South?

I've actually thought of making that a Carbon Fiber replacement for ease of cleaning and NO shrinkage.

Daytona is a great place with great people that treat you like family. They have amazing connection all over the world. I drop in often and have met some neat people there from Ducati (Rossis' team) Italy and Dallara Italy. Maybe one day Shumi will drop in to visit.
