Just to let people know, I just ordered a CTEK XS3600 from Amazon for £43. Hopefully this should keep the battery in tip top condition from now on |

Would any one know of a portable battery tender? I don't have an electric socket in my car park as it is communal. So i am looking for a battery that can supply electricity to the the tender. I was told that the solar ones don't work well. Any ideas or experiences would be appreciated.

Hi. Found a socket n finally got my ctek Mxs 5.0 battery conditioner. Question is where should I set the battery tender? Should I fix it directly on the battery itself (ie the front of the passenger seat) or the compartment behind the back of the passenger seat. I've heard people do it either way and wonder if there is a correct way to go about it. And if one way was safer for the car n its computers. Much appreciate the insights.

Just bought a Battery Tender Plus for my Porsche 993 TT a couple of days ago at Amazon. It was on sale for less than 50 bucks; not a bad deal. I hope to get an F430 before too long (till then have to get by with the 911TT).

I'm in need of a couple of decent battery conditioners. About to purchase a CTEK Multi XS3.6 - seems to be the replacement model for the CTEK XS3600. Anything better I should be buying?
