I'm in the market for a 2003-2004 360M Spider. I'm trying to factor in the cost of having to do a clutch on a 2003 360 Spider with F1 transmission as the clutch is down to 45% (only a 6,000 mile car). How much would a Ferrari dealer charge? How much should I save if I do it by a Ferrari certified technician instead of an authorized dealer? The car will also need the belt service in about two years. How much should I assume that will cost as well. THX for the help.

Clutch replacement is about $5,500.00 -$6,000.00 +/- on average. I would strongly suggest you locate a very credible independent as you will find more interest to get the work properly done. I would also suggest you make certain they replace the throw out bearing and use the Hill Engineering unit. It is far superior to the OEM. Belt service costs depend upon whether the tensioner bearings need replacement. Belts are about $1,500.00 but tensioners can add another $500.00. This is not a fixed cost because something else can be going on in there that could need attention. Learn how to use the F1 properly and avoid reverse as much as possible. |
