Thought it would be a good idea to make a list of 599 owners on Ferrarilife Please post up a picture of your 599 and some info about it. It's up to you what info you want to provide but an example would be: Model: 599 GTB Year: 2007 Country: UK Steering: RHD Chassis number: 110952 Ferrari colour: Rosso Corsa Interior colour: Nero In order to keep the thread on topic, please only post once in this thread with all the info you would like to provide on your 599. Thanks. |

TB- Welcome to Ferrari Life. Great to have a 599 owner here. Natural should mean Cuoio, but not sure what custom means. What does your paint sticker say? There were several options for paint color, in range, out of range, and match to sample, so it sounds like your car has match to sample (custom) paint.

Thanks! I will get the data off the proper id tags. I just attached the window Sticker PDF until I get over to see my new toy and get the photos of the tags.

Wow, that car is really loaded. It has a paint selection from the 50s-60s palette, which cost the original owner $10K+ and Poltrona Frau leather trim. The Serial Number is compatible with all the HGTE upgrades, if you are ever interested. Someone really went all out on this one with all the carbon fiber trim, too. should be beautiful. Do not see too many dedication plates, either. TB, congratulations on the purchase. Drive in good health always. When the opportunity arises it would be nice to see pics of the car inside and out. Would also like to know what the additional options are as shown on the window sticker for $29,000+. Please post when you have a chance. As it so happens I took a 599 out for a long test drive 2 weeks ago. Fully loaded including HGTE. Absolutely fabulous automobile. Not a single flaw other than the nav being so miniature. I never did turn on the stero as the engine sounds we so intoxicating. It is the finest GT I have driven to date. That test drive now has me considering exchanging my 575 for the 599 and I love driving my 575. 12,000 miles in the 1st 12 months I have owned the car. Tomorrow I start a 1 week trip south in it from PA to FL. Hopefully I'm not spending the entire trip wondering what it would be like in the 599. |

I will take some photos in the AM. As for the radio - nav - voice control ROFLOL George the sales person at Newport Ferrari that sold me the car cant run the radio nor could the other two people he asked to show me how to run it. I am spoiled I love my sat radio so I am looking at ways to get it. One is to use the Ipod dock cord it has and use an Iphone for sat radio and nav. I am thinking adding the Nav rear view mirror... It is a Beast as gentle as my Jag XJ but plant the right root and YEEEE HAWWW.. One shocking discovery is it sips gas, no joke my Toyota FJ gets lower millage.. I am beyond happy if it was not going to rain in the Am I would be down in Irvine with my new toy |

Hi, Just a note.. The stock radio - nav that came in my 599 is extremely hard to use. And given the fact there is no sat radio nor screen for the nav, plus I have no use for an ash tray. I have made an iphone interface with voltage correction and mount for the iphone that plugs into the existing ash tray! Works great used the Sirus sat radio app and now am able to have voice turn by turn, sat radio, and other audio options in my car. Best part is it L@@Ks factory and installed with a single screw in the existing tray. |
