Hi All:

I'm trying to post some pictures - but apparently a URL is required! Perhaps this is a silly question, bit is there no easy way to upload direct from the local disk?

Mov'It does make steel kits for Maranellos that do not require the long wait of the custom CER rears for mine. They have a 370x6 and a 342x4 set-up that goes under the OEM 18" wheels.

Official Website MOV'IT® - brakes, brake systems, braking systems:*550 Maranello
Taz - yes their steel system (370x6, 342x4) looks interesting. To be explored seriously.

About the 19" 575 modular wheels - do you have any left at all? I wonder what the cost of shipping them to the U.K. is. If you do have any spare, please PM me with pricing info.

Thanks,

Atul- Here are the specs on the FHP option for the 575s that was the same as that on the 550, except the 550 had an FHP shock aborber ECU, too.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Thanks, Terry. I look forward to receiving the pads and getting them on the car. The run-in procedure talks about "... brake pressure between 10 and 30 bar ...". Is there any real way to measure that in the car, or is this something that the mechanic does at setup time?

Atul- No way to measure that. There is light braking, medium braking, and hard braking. They just depend on how hard you stomp on the pedal. To really properly bed the Pagid 4-4s, you need a race track or autobahn with no traffic, but doing it from 85 mph instead of 100 mph will not make that much difference. Motorways often run that fast.

Yes, the motorways should be fine, though it might look a little odd to someone (and possibly even a little dangerous) to see a 550 doing multiple "Stop and Go's", so to speak :-).
