Default 599 20" wheels on a 612

Can you fit the 20" 599 wheels on a 612?

The Scag that I was considering in Charles Hurst had 20" 599 challenge wheels fitted. I think they needed to fit spacers but I was told that apart from that they were fine. Never actually saw the car in the flesh though.

Boxer- They fit perfectly with no mods. Doug has a set on his 612 and the inch wider rear wheels fill out the rear wheel wells perfectly. Good news is they are usually not that expensive.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Thanks, they do look great on the 612. Have seen sets in the UK for around £2k.

Did Boxer just tip his hand

The fit with the larger wheels is far better but more important the minor change is a big handling reward.

The OTO additions were well worth the cost and effort.

It really does improve the whole stance of the 612.

On the hand tipping, all will hopefully be finalized shortly.

It is actually pretty close to the original idea last fall.
