Default Plug for Ferrparts

Just wanted to pass along a good buying experience I had recently with Russ @ Ferrparts.

I'd placed a small order with him for some used and NOS parts, and it arrived promptly but was missing 2 pieces (although they were shown on his packing list). I advised him of the missing parts and asked for replacements.

By rights, since the parts were shown on his packing list, he probably could have said "tough", and I would have been SOL, but he didn't. He took me at my word, and sent replacements.

This is not meant to take anything away from Daniel and other vendors that do a great job for us, but I find it unusual (and heartening) that a used parts vendor has this type of attitude and concern for his customers.

High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars.

Russ is my connection at Ferrparts as well. Believe he is one of the owners. I second the comments, only the best service.

Same experience here, also dealt with Russ. Won off Ebay a 3-spoke non airbag steering wheel for my 456. It arrived as just the wheel, no hub. The wheel is sold by Ferrari as a wheel/hub combo, so I couldn't order just the hub. There was only one picture in the auction, so I couldnt tell it didn't have the hub. It won't bolt to the airbag hub, so I emailed him thatI needed the hub. They scrounged and found it on a steering rack. The hub worked, but it was missing the outer sleeve. Again, the scrounged and found it. Numerous emails but Russ never lost his cool with me or blew me off. Got me the parts I needed and life is great. A very good used parts supplier.

Would like to edit my comment above as have only used Russ and Ferrparts for new parts. They are very competitive on new Ferrari parts pricing.

Taz - I bounce around on a few forums (Ferrarichat,Ferrarilife,Maseratilife) as I own a '03 360, '98 456, and '04 Gransport.
