Thinking about making the switch. Obviously very different cars with a different focus. Just curious to hear from someone that's done it. Many regrets? Does the 599 satisfy. The biggest draws for me are a trunk, the ability to take longer road trips, and the V12!

Welcome to Ferrari Life Eric. Can't comment on your question, but I'm sure those who have driven both will be along shortly. Would a track focused V8 and a V12 GT be a potential option? You mean like a 360 CS and 550/575 duo? Ive thought of that, but I prefer the 599. I also have GT3 RS, so I already have a weapon for the track.

I have recently tried to convert to a 8 cylinder Ferrari. After owning a V12 - IMO it's a whole different world of car. You may want to consider the 599 HGTE Feel free to post pictures | |

| That was exactly what I was thinking. A GT3 RS does quite fit that bill as well though. But then if you already have a Scud and GT3, I suppose no reason not to consider a CS / GT3 pairing and a nice 550/575 - or even a 612 Scaglietti if practical considerations and comfort are of importance.

| Don't think it's possible on iPad/iPhone.

Eric- Go drive one. They are GTs, but will eat a Scud/16M in a straight line. Plus carry your golf clubs, suitcases, cases of beer, smiling wife, etc. Once you try a V12, you will never go back. Plus your wife will love it and the luxurious interior, too, and the 599 has an indestructible dual plate clutch. So you can turn her loose in it and she can easily drive it. Gentle at low throttle settings, but unbelievable when pushed. Not everybody needs a hairshirt Ferrari like a Scud/16M. But what do I know? I have the car the 599 replaced.
