Default adding Navigation to the Cascade Becker 6112

Does anybody know what I need to do to add the navigation function to the cascade system ( BE 6112) on my 2008 599 GTB ?
Any help is appreciated.

J- Welcome to Ferrari Life and I see you have a new toy. Introduce yourself below in member introductions.

Give Scott Cairncross a call and see if he can help.

I assume that is the standard 599 radio? There is a Ferrari kit for the GPS radio part number 235731, but I am guessing it is unrealistically expensive compared to an equal or better quality aftermarket radio with a really usable GPS system. Here is a list of all the parts and below an image of the 599's stereo layout.

Welcome to the F-Club Otto.

Assuming it has the GPS atenna and other hardware bits installed, you'll need the set of Nav CDs for the 6112. I believe there is a software CD and two for maps (east and west USA). They are available from Ferrari but are very expensive. They do sell on eBay but you have to make sure to get the correct version.

I suggest you give Becker Auto Sound a call, they can advise you on exactly what you'll need and they sometimes have the extra bits.

Terry:
Thank you for the detailed information. The kit is exactly what I need.
The previous owner did not return the map chip with the car or somebody took it out when the car was sitting in the show room.
