Default Converting LH dip to RH dip or vice versa

I could not find anything precise on the internet on this and found a lot of unrelated info about switches on the back of the lights etc. There cannot be a lot of people who want to do this but at least I'll record how it is done.
I suspect if I asked an official dealer to change the light dipping, they would ask for a lot of money to replace the whole light unit and charge an afternoon of labour to do the job.
It takes about an hour to do both lights and costs nothing for parts.
1. Remove the light unit from the car. Undo the electrical connection and three bolts that have captive nuts and one bolt and nut that also secure the electrical connection. 10 mm spanner. Take care not to loose the nut in the engine compartment!
2. With the light unit on the bench, remove the central lamp unit by carefully unclipping four plastic retainers, two on top, two on the bottom. Disconnect two electrical connections from the main unit. You cannot remove this centre piece with the lamp unit in situ, as you cannot access the two lower retaining clips.
3. Remove the back cover of the central piece and disconnect the bulb. Note it is the smaller diameter of the two light which gives the dipped beam. It has a lens like the bottom of a coke bottle set in a large alloy casting.
4. Release the large spring clip, top side.
5 Remove the two screws, lower side. Long screwdriver via the rear access. The light unit is free inside the framework, You do not need to take it out, and you cannot get it out like this anyway! Take care later, when replacing these screws, since they are steel screws into an alloy casting and they can destroy the thread in the casting if not properly lined up, with the cost consequences you can imagine.
6. Remove four small spring clips on the light unit. Two on the top and two on the bottom. Noting their positions and the small dimple on the clip, at the rear, which engaged in a hole in the rear part of the light. The light unit is now three pieces. Front part with lens, rear part with bulb unit and a central plate with a cut out.
7. Turn the metal plate around its vertical axis, so that the right side is now on the left, but keeping the top at the top. (Laterally invert the metal plate.)
8. As they say in the best workshop manuals: Assembly is the reverse of dismantling.
The hole in the central plate goes at the top, since the lens actually inverts the light beam. Put it back upside down and you will illuminate the sky not the road. Pay attention that you do actually laterally invert the plate since it is easy to loose track. I know I did it and ended up with cross eyed dipping the first time.
The most difficult part of the job is properly reseating the rubber seal around the light unit when you put it back into the car.
9. Recheck the light beam adjustment, since this may be slightly off due to the positioning of the plate on the retaining pins in the light unit.
