456 exhaust sound

Hello,

I would like to have a more aggressive exhaust sound on my 1995 456GT,
any suggestions? (currently stock and a bit boring...)
A friend suggested to remove the center resonator and install with x-pipes.
Is that really a good idea and if so can anyone recommend one that is bolt on replacement?

Ed- Welcome to Ferrari Life. You do not need X-Pipes, just replace the center muffler/resonator with straight pipes. Any good muffler shop can do it and all you need is a couple of pieces of straight SS pipe. #5 below and an easy mod.

I have Larini rear boxes fitted to my 1995 456 GT ( 101410) they sound great and I am very pleased I had them installed. Absolutley fantastic with the windows down and not to lound with the windows up. I wasn't at all happy with the sound of the standard rear boxes.
