detailed, waxed, and took all of the stickers off on impulse and was gonna do a carbon or mirror hood but thought i leave it alone for now.... but i have a bigger problem now, my memory seat 1,2,3 function dont work no matter when i push the 123 buttons. really annoying because i use it too often to get in and out of my car gracefully. still have warranty, but i bet they will need to do something big like change out a new seat or something which will take months to come from italy, or can i get lucky here?? ![]() ![]() |

John- Odds are you just did something that chapped off the seat ECU. Connector, something. The Driver's Position Set-Up ECU (no I am not kidding, that is what they call it) is under the driver's seat and easily replaceable. There is one under the passenger's seat, too. Do all the other seat functions still work? If so, you might try resetting all the buttons, remembering the ignition must be on and it takes 3 seconds for the little beep to occur. Good news is, it will not be hard to fix, especially under warranty. You might also try a full reset via the battery kill switch.

| Not sure on the 612 but it will be indicated in the owners manual.

John- Here you go. Steps for ECU reset: 1) Turn off A/C, radio, and all other accessories 2) Disconnect battery using disconnect switch 3) Leave overight until full cold or 30 minutes if already full cold 4) Reconnect battery 5) Insert ignition key and leave for 30 seconds 6) Turn ignition to on and leave for 30 seconds 7) Turn igntion off and wait 30 seconds 8) Turn ignition to on, wait for Check OK, and start engine 9) Let engine idle for 10 minutes with no inputs whatsoever 10) Turn on accessories, insert radio code if necessary 11) Drive gently for 20 minutes Or you can just turn off the battery for 30 minutes, reconnect and drive. Do not try and pass an emissions test for a few days until the system relearns all its parameters. Lowering or opening the windows is a good idea, and you can see the ECU self-learning procedure here, too.
