Hey guys - I may have found the right 550 in San Fran. Here is the car: Ferrari : 550 | eBay I have a deposit on it pending a PPI and I'm looking for a shop in San Fran? Its at the Ferrari dealer there but the only PPI item they will do is a compression test (which is happening today). Does anyone know a local shop in the area which would do a more detailed inspection? The car has been serviced by the dealer for the last 10 years. Its a 2-owner car and seems to be very well maintained. I am getting a copy of all the service records and I plan to fly out on Monday to see it in person. I have been lurking around for over a year looking for a 550 so I have a good list of what items to check. If anyone has any pointers outside the obvious (575 mounts, sticky parts etc) please let me know. I'm excited! |
