The engine warning display (the little engine icon displayed to the lower left of the tachometer) on our 575M Maranello recently came on. According to the owners manual it could be an engine or emissions issue. The car runs normally and the "check OK" reading comes on when I turn on the ignition. Any idea what is causing this?

Are you also getting the SLOW DOWN 1-6 or 7-12 light? Do your exhaust tips have white residue on them? Could be a number of issues. Suggest you cut the battery, let it sit for 10 minutes, turn the battery back on, and then start it up again and see if the warning light comes back. Thanks. No "slow down" light and the engine temp is normal. Let me try the battery disconnect to see if that helps.
