Default 456 Shock rebuild and engine start up

Just rebuilt rear shock Bilsien in Ca-fitted-shock light-does the shock ECU need to be re set? Is this a dealer re-set?

Engine start up first 2 mins lacks power to pull away-after 2 mins perfect-any ideas?

Perhaps too late for him, but worthy of a search response for later.
Any ideas?
