Default Ferrari Release More Pics of 599 HGTE

Feeding into our supercar lust, Ferrari published a new photo gallery of its tweaked 599 GTB Fiorano with the Handling GT Evoluzione sport package. Revealed for the first time at this year's Geneva Salon, the HGTE is in essence an optional pack designed to further improve driver involvement and agility, as well as to enhance the standard 599 GTB Fiorano's grip.

At a first glance it looks no different than the standard version. Take a second look and you'll see that it's sitting closer to the ground, it rides on newly designed 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tires while there's also a more aggressive front grille and new chromed tail pipes that promise to deliver a throatier exhaust sound.

Other changes include a modified magnetorheological damper settings for improved body control while the 599 GTB's interior has been enhanced with sportier seats embroidered with the words "Handling GTE" and plenty of carbon-fibre trim.

I really like it, the 599 grew a lot on me since it's debut a few years ago. Great looking car and I bet it is an amazing driver's car

What's the major revolutionary difference from the first 599 Fiorano model?

Default Distracting

Don't like the brightly illuminated ( Time , temperature, radio, etc, etc) cluster in the dash, very brightly "lite" and distracting, I wonder if you can turn it off, You driving a "Ferrari"....Who cares what temperature it is outside!?....Mark.

Nothing really. Just dialed up from 10 to 11.

+1, wasn't sure at first, but after seeing a few in the flesh and seeing how aggressive they look, I really like the styling now. Love the carbon interior on this model. It might have depreciated enough for me to buy one in about 15 years.

Some of them said that it handles better than the early 599 gtb. Plus u get the new carbon fibre semi-bucket seats.

It is quite obvious that Ferrari felt upstaged by Novitec's 599 mods as this car reflects a good deal of what Novitec did over a year ago.

So obviously Ferrari wants to gain all the $ market share possible.

Beautiful car.

As it has been lowered and the suspension stiffened, it will handle better but ride harder than the base 599 GTB.

Beautiful car.
There is an article in the lastest issue of FORZA on the Novitec 599 with twin-supercharger system. Resulting in a whopping 800Bhp.

The HP increase does not impress me. There is enough thesre already and I'd bet the cost is probably in the $100K+ range for the engine upgrades. makes no sense.

However, it's the suspension and related Novitec mods that really make that car now.
