Ramy- Will try and put something together. Not sure I know any automotive 101 sources I could recommend.

    Hey, Taz.

I, and others I'm sure, would love to hear about the evolution of Ferrari's 2+2 engines.

Also, could you refer us to any well-written introductory resources (a 101, so to speak) on the basic automotive technical concepts?

Who are you using for a WSM for your 575. I bought one from a guy I found on ferrarichat but its turning out to be a real pain getting it to run--Probably because I am primarily a MAC user and his app is a windows app.

Loris- The Corvette siren has worked perfectly for some cars, and not for others. Seems to be hit and miss.

Yes I have done mistake ; of course I want to change the siren system !
You are sure if I buy the corvette siren 15213135 it will work without problem instead the spare ferrari too expensive.
    thank for confirmation.

Loris- I do not recommend changing the battery. I would recommend either buying the Ferrari siren, which has become very expensive, part number 177148, or using a Corvette siren, GM part number 15213135 , which is less than $100.

If you want to try the battery only, there are several threads on Ferrari Chat discussing how to cut open the siren and replace the internal rechargeable battery with an external battery.
