Hello, yes I definitely recommend it especially on a new 458. Get as much done as you can the peace of mind you will get will be worth every penny. Only thing to prepare is if there are existing blemishes or chips you might want to touch those up before hand. But I don't think you will have any ha ha ha just pick a decent shop that installs 3M film professionally and you wont be disappointed.

I have ordered a Ferrari 458 Italia, expected delivery July/August. You seem to know an awful lot about exterior maintenance of these cars. Is there anything special I should do before having the rock protecting film applied to the car, or do you suggest that I not even do this? My first Ferrari, I need some advice, please. Thanks Joe
