Am based in Switzerland and am about to pick up my first Ferrari, 2004 612 HGTC. Look, feel & Service History are all perfect. Only niggle is that the original owner waived his right to the Sports Exhaust. Everything in this country is so overflated and I would not pay 15k just for a sports exhaust. I read a previous post on what you did with your 612. Did you have any regrets? Was it in anyway detrimental to the exhaust unit? Thanks in advance for any help. Joe

Finally he gave me a deadline, at which time he would sell wholesale to another dealer. There are 3 cars in that Miami area for sale right now. Not saying he doesn't have a deal but he is still sitting on the car. Also I saw the car in Seattle dropped to 259K asking price and it only has 1200 miles. That's also a nice car, when I talked to the salesman he was upfront about the market. They had gradually dropped their car from 299K to 259k. I reviewed the service record and it is up to date. only downside a little hickey on the bumper( no dent just clear bra and paint scuff from a rock) that would cost about 1500 to fix. also red scuderia and not the 3 layer.
Any thoughts? I like the original car best but I don't like the way the salesman doesn't give me the straight story.

Still working on the deal, but couple things make me a little concerned. First they told me the car had all its service intervals done and they just recently got it back from the dealer for its usual service interval. Check with dealer service dept. and the car has never had any service work, only a warranty issue on the convertible top about one year ago. Service advisor said it is due for a ? minor service which would be about 3500. Second, when I originally started discussions they were going to take the car into the dealer before the warranty expired to go through everything( carbon, headlights, etc.) and take care of anything that needed attention. I call back right before the expiration and they tell me thats not necessary as its practically new.
Sorry it was Ansa Motorcars and it should have a number of pics in the gallery on that car. There was a recent purchase of a yellow 16M with 500 miles on the Ferrarichat forum, you have any gander what that one went for?
