Hi fellow Ferrari Life forum users, My name is Liam ( If you didn't geuss ) i'm a fan of cars especially Ferraris and I'd love to be part of a Ferrari owners community. I rarely see Ferraris but when i do i always jump around and yell, point etc when i see one, it's always a amazing moment especially since i'm not so fortunate like the owners of Ferraris to experience the beauty and passion of owning or being in/ near Ferraris all the time. And for my 16th birthday im praying my dad rents a Ferrari for the day or takes me to the Ferrari/ Maserati dealership in Sydney so i can look at the cars but i doubt that will happen, im interested in joining a NSW Ferrari club so i can go to drive days and see the Ferraris contact me if you would like to help me on my journey of being in or near Ferraris!

Liam- Welcome and you sound just like I did at your age, except the car was a Mercedes 300SL. Luckily, Dad was also a car freak and owned a 61 Corvette, so enjoyed window shopping for cars and visiting Shelby American when they were building Cobras and early GT-350s. Tell your father what you want for your birthday and maybe he can make at least part of it come true. Plus we have several FLifers from Down Under who might be willing to give you a ride. Also check into joining the local Ferrari club and possibly attending some events. Welcome Liam, I had similar aspirations when I was 16, and many years previous. Like you, in Ireland you rarely see Ferrari's so it was usually only an annual event, when on holidays in Europe that I would ever see a Prancing Horse. Keep the passion alive and I am sure some day you will have one in your own garage. Hi Tazandjan and Barry, I'll try and join a Ferrari club thanks for the idea, yeah my dream car has always been the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. I just love the looks and sound the car makes, my dad could rent a Ferrari 360 in Australia for $1050 dollars a day but the insurance is $15000 that worrys him the most. My dads a minor car junky though he doesn't mind taking me to car shows and watching youtube videos of Ferraris accelerating he doesn't feel the same way about cars as me he owns a Subaru WRX which is fast for a 5 seater but it's nothing special and there just a cheap fast car. BTW love your 575 Maranello and 360 modena guys |

Liam- If you go to ferraridatabase.com you can download a CS owners manual and other tech data. Makes for fun reading.

Liam-She costs about $1K a year to service, more every 5 years for cambelt changes. If you look through my past threads, my car is in a ton of threads. Try the 575 stickies technical thread and register.

Liam- The whole deal was done on the telephone. Took about five minutes. The nearest dealer to me is about 650 kms distant, and Boardwalk is even further. They shipped the 575 to me and I shipped the Z06 to them, both sight unseen. Not necessarily the best way to buy a Ferrari or a Z06, but it worked for both of us. The Z06 sold in very short order with only 537 miles on her.

Hopefully he can buy one, he's much more of a porsche fan, if he doesn't buy one, I will buy one one day, and that will come for sure. Could skip with passing up a 599 or 612 but not a 458!!!! Future: - Nero Ferrari 458 Italia with yellow calipers ^^ | |
