Hello everyone of Ferrarilife.com. I have browsed this site from time to time as I find many of the threads very interesting. Over the past couple of months I have gained a significant amount of knowledge about the more technical aspects of being a motor head rather than just looking at pictures and comparing 0-60 times. I am not a Ferrari owner, but certainly consider myself an enthusiast. Unfortunately my only hands on experience with a car is my 2004 v6 mustang, and I plan to keep that as my sporty car and use my Subaru Forester as my practical car for the time being. The savings account for a Ferrari is certainly growing and I hope to be asking questions about what to look for when purchasing the prancing horse marque in the not so distant future. I had an opportunity to drive a 355 Berlinetta a few months ago and I absolutely loved it. The way the steering felt was amazing. It was one of the only times that I have felt like I was in complete control of the driving experience. I have also driven a V8 Vantage, however I enjoyed the feel of the 355 much more. The only other car I have driven that has given me that shiver-down-your-spine-satisfaction that I experienced with the 355 was a BMW 2002 turbo. I look forward to being a part of the Ferrarilife.com community and sharing my interest in automobiles. ~Derek Last edited by dfm; 01-12-2012 at 07:36 AM. |

Derek- Welcome and we look forward to helping you become a Ferrari owner. If you go to ferraridatabase.com you can download owners manuals, workshop manuals, and other technical data on the F355. Should guarantee you ease of falling asleep reading for weeks at a time.
