GP- Welcome to Ferrari Life. Introduce yourself below in member intros and tell us something about yourself.

I know of several California drivers who have put over 30,000 miles on their cars with virtually no problems. One has even traded his old one (which he bought new) for a new one.

I believe the 2011 cars came with 7 years of free routine servicing, too, as well as a 36 month warranty, just like real cars. Check with the dealer on the 7 years free servicing, though, and make sure it was on 2011 cars. The Californias make great daily drivers, and still go like stink and make a glorious noise. Plus that retractable hard top is a nice feature. You will love it.

Here is the info on the 7 year service plan:

Welcome to FLife

I am a firm believer - the more miles put on a modern Ferrari the better the car gets.

Terry can correct me but a Ferrari engine isn't even broken in til 20,000 - 30,000 miles.

Doug- The late engines are really tough. They do like to be driven.

Build quality and dependability on the California is excellent. LA to Miami trips will actually be great for the car.
