Long time member says hello…

My name is Johan and I have been registered on the forum since 2004 but haven’t been very active for quite some time. Historically I have been more active on FerrariChat but for similar reasons as StefVan and AndersT has moved I am now going to try to take a more involved part here at FerrariLife.

I have a history of driving all sorts of cars but for the last 5 years I have spent most of my time modifying and driving 355 GTS F1’s. However, two days before Christmas I made a quantum leap and am now the owner of a 430 Scuderia. I still feel that the 355 is the most beautiful car in the world, but sometimes you just have to move on I guess…

I am, as Anders T located in Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden and I have a background partly related to Volvo car dealers and Business Intelligence.

With 2 kids at home and less time on my hands I hope I can participate at more track meetings this year. Apart from being active on internet I am also involved in Local sport cars club (Sportvagnsklubben Göteborg) and Ferraristi Svezia (ferrariclubsweden)

Looking forward reading about, and learning more about Ferrari in general and the 430 in particular and am hoping to have good and open minded conversations with all of you :-)

Hello Johan, I think you'll find a higher percentage of people with constructive things to say here, and fewer of those who apparently enjoy stirring up trouble just because they can

Ciao welcome to FL would love to see pics of the Scud. As you I agree the 355 is and will always be a classic true lines of lady Ferrari

But a Scud is pretty hot too

Hi Johan, I'm very happy you joined us here where you'll find much more constructive content and members. Anders is a guy I do appreciate a lot and we've been working together on many mod ideas as you know on FC. But you're right that lot's of energy was wasted there and that's why we want to build up some good content here that can be found back easily

Sorry if that was confusing. The /12 is the production month. The car was made in December 2008, the 4:th of Decemnber to be even more precise ;-)

Global Motors just posted one for sale on here and I have to agree the open top and clean lines are well done.

I agree. Still sometimes wonder if I should have gone for a 355 GTS when I purchased the 360....

No playing around with the photos, but as you know a photo isn't always telling the whole truth... Car looks great in real life though, the color is Rosso Corsa 322.

They are both great cars Barry

IMO - the 360 and the 355 are both very proportionate correct.

Lovely Scud....give it a few years and we will be talking about them with the same fondness we do of the 355s.
My opinion, the scud is another of those F cars that brakes the mould and creates a standard.
