Default 400i starter

Hi all, I am a new member with a 400i (5 speed) and an early 308GTB. Looks like a great site!

FN- Welcome to Ferrari Life. Great combination of a 60 deg Ferrari V12 and a 308. Partial to both. Too bad I sold all that 400i factory tech data, but you can find most of it on ferraridatabase.com.

By the way, if anyone can offer any helpful hints or recommendations on how to make the job of changing a starter motor on a 400i easier, it would be appreciated.

Thank you. I am based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and I am an engineer/mechanic/collector/car nut, playing with vintage Ferraris, Mercedes, Jaguars,BMW and Lotus. My 400i is Grigio with red leather and manual transmission. My 308GTB is black with maroon and black leather. I really need to clear some garage space (at least one Mercedes 280SL needs to go) because there are a couple of other cars I would like to add to the collection.

Pics, pics, pics...

And no need to limit it to just the F cars. We are a tolerant bunch here and can appreciate many other marques as well

Thanks for the warm welcome. I couldn't figure out how to upload a picture of my shop to this thread, so I posted it into my avatar. Any members who are in my neighborhood are welcome to stop in for a cup of coffee.
