Spent some time in your general vicinity back in the 80's. Lived on Coronado while assigned to CG-50, USS Valley Forge. Great area. For a short ime I was also in an apartment just off Balboa up on the hill overlooking Mission bay. My father-in-law is still mad we left that place.

You guys are great... Jeff was very kind to introduce me to the group. Essentially I am a hard core enthusiast though and through.

I am a Marine Engineer by trade and was both an officer in the Navy as well as unlimited tonnage steam and Diesel chief engineer. I retired from ships in 1990 and have have been playing, trading, racing, selling and collecting klunkers ever since.

My family comes first and making my clients and friends happy second. All are welcome to visit and I hope to meet some of you in a few weeks in Florida. I will be delivering sold cars to clients and for the first time in a few years if not sold have something with me for sale... yes the Zagato.

It is impossibly beautiful and the entire program was crushingly difficult to pull off. Ferrari made it... lets just say interesting to see these cars built and they clearly regret allowing our client to ever even start such a distraction from their incoming generating regular program.

I am still working my way around the site so hopefully will provide assistance to those where and when I can. In the meantime all are welcome to contact me anytime if I can assist with any period photos, notes, records etc... on any of the machines that have gone through our doors over the past twenty years as well as assistance and details on what we have from moment to moment... which in today's markets is not much I am sorry to say.

If I step out of line or rub anyone the wrong way... speak up and crush me like a bug... I am a big boy and have not even remotely learned not to keep inventing new and creative ways of making mistakes I never even thought of until it is way too late but to beg for mercy and move on!

Bill, welcome. I think you will like it here. As far as the car adds go, i know i would like to see them because i am familiar with the quality of cars you have. As far as the appropriateness goes, it's not my site but i have seen a lot of slack cut to sponsors .

I will also be in fl and would love to say hi. don't know if i'm working the show yet, but i will def be there either way. i'll be the one that looks like the guy in the yellow coat on the left (probably without the girls).

Hi Guys,

I am heading off to Cavallino in a few hours. The Zagato arrived there earlier today and will be making all the rounds. I am both happy and a bit sad as while in transit to the shows, it was sold. I always knew our time with her would be short.

I sure hope some of you come down and on over to say hi!
