Hi everyone-

I saw some familiar faces over here from fchat and thought I would register and follow this board as well.

Loved ferraris for over 20 years, bought a 2001 red/tan 550 Maranello three years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the ownership experience.

Looking forward to my time here.

LC- Wait until you floor one and you will like it even more. 400+ ft lbs of torque makes for an interesting experience. Can only imagine what a 599 might be like, but they are quite a bit bigger.

There's no doubt that the 599 is a beast, but for me, I'd choose the gated 550/75.

Early this summer, I was driving down the highway when a beautiful red 550 crept up behind me. I believe the owner had just picked it up from service at competizione. Anyway, I've been around exotics for most of my life, but seeing that 550 on the road amongst all of the DDs was really something.

Maybe this year I will get a chance to drive one. Toggie, you out there?

BTW - I can't get over how much I loved driving the 355 Rick.
