Hello everyone. Been a member a while but spending more time here recently for some reason - guess it took me a while to see the light  .I live in Lafayette, LA, married, 2 kids, one a junior in college, the other a soph. in high school. Welcome Rodney - are the crawfish decent size this year? We have a couple of places here in Houston that claim to be Cajun seafood restaurants, but they're pretty mediocre compared to what you have. I lived in Lafayette for 15 years and have the 10 extra pounds to prove it. Again, welcome to FLife. No fresh crawfish til spring I think. I'm not a native, but have been in LA for almost 20 years so it's home now. Less than one lb/year living in Lafayette isn't so bad - plenty of great food here for certain  .

pics Avio blue 430 spider Doug- I understand about Tulane - having lived in N.O. for 5 years and working at Charity Hospital, I was actually relieved my daughter didn't want to try to get in Tulane. It's a great school, but N.O. was a scary place in the 90's. I guess it's a little safer post-Katrina. Thanks for the welcome. |
