Default Hello Fellow Tifosi...

Greetings and salutations to all of the Ferrari Life Community...

My name is T.J. Snyder and I live in North Carolina, along with my wife.

I've been enamored with the prancing horses since childhood (my dad is also huge fan and he babies his 328 like no tomorrow!)

I recently dipped my toe into the world of ownership and purchased a RC/tan 3-pedal GTS. Amazing. No other word to describe it.

I look forward to having some great conversation and learning a a great deal about these cars! All the best.

Welcome to FL, TJ. I hear that North Carolina is a beautiful state to runabout and live, altho I have never had the opportunity yet to step my toe in NC. w/ smiles Jimmy

TJ- Welcome to Ferrar Life and would love to see some photos of your car. Sounds like a nice one and the GTS is the rarest of the production models, 2577 vs 4915 Berlinettas and 3714 Spiders.

Must be nice coming from a Ferrari family. My father was a Corvette lover, and owned four over the years. My brother still has his last one.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Yes, it certainly can be said that I don't fall far from the tree, certainly something my father and I bonded over.

I've been lurking for past couple months, first to gather intelligence about the 355 and later to answer some of the newbie questions...finally decided I should join in on the fun.

Here are a few snaps from October, shortly after purchase. I bought myself a challenge grill for Christmas which I'm going to put on this week; I'll post a few more then with the new back-end!

When you said 3 pedal GTS I was thinking F355. Congrats and welcome to Ferrari Life.

Thank you, Andrew/Terry.

She's definitely been getting some workouts; I bought it with 19,500 on the clock, and in the three months I've had it put about 2,000 on it. I didn't buy it trying to keep it a garage queen, I figure if I'm going to spend this kind of money, I should go out and enjoy the thing.

It's a '98, and looks good for her age. Of course there are a number of small paint chips here and there, and the bottom of the front bumper has a few scrapes (I cringed the first time I bottomed-out going into a fuel station). But overall it's been taken care of pretty well.

I look at ownership of these as more custodianship than anything else; sure, drive the hell out of it (I'll absolutely never forget the first time I blasted it up to 8300 RPM ), but keep it up to snuff for the next guy or gal. It deserves respect.

Welcome to FLife

Great looking Ferrari!

Looks like it's as fresh as the day it was born!

The GTS offers the best of all worlds.

I agree, the hardtop convertible option is just so great. And surprisingly low on wind noise and buffeting inside the car.

GREAT cars and coffee in Raleigh this morning. Both a Porsche 959 and a Fisker (!) showed up.

Here are a couple pics of mine...I put the challenge grill and euro lights on this week. First wrench-turning experience!
