Macchina dei Elentinos

Hi all,

I already introduced my car in the Ferrari Owners thread, now something about myself. All my life I have loved Italian cars. Even when I was a little boy I loved the Alfa Romeo of the neighbours. I thought it was the most beautiful car there was... And that stayed that way all my life. I have owned a lot of Italian cars, Alfa's, Lancia's, Fiats and Maserati. The list of Italian cars i have owned is big.
Since this summer I am the proud owner of a 1986 328 GTB, my first Ferrari. It shares garage space with an Alfa Spider, Lancia Fulvia Zagato and a Lancia Thema. I like driving the cars and I also like to hold the spanners and do repairs and maintenance on my hobby cars. About 5 years ago I unfortunately stopped driving an Italian car as a daily driver. I really don't like the new Alfa's and Lancia's anymore.

I am a huge fan of the old "real" Lancias. I used to have a Flaminia. What great cars.

Welcome to FL Erwin. Nice intro and great pics. You sound like a Dutch version of our own Irish "Maranello House" (also an avid Italian car lover, owner and mechanic).

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. There are a lot of Italian car lovers in the Netherlands. Classic Italian cars are quite popular over here.

Well, I haven't stopped driving daily. I stopped driving daily in an Italian car. My last Italian daily driver was an Alfa Romeo 166, but the new ones don't work for me. Nowadays my daily driver is a Mercedes.
