Just joined - currently "between Ferraris", but small collection of other fun stuff. F1 fan, former race team crew member, interested in Ferrari "stuff" in general.

Ferrari Challenge, then Grand Am GT. Lots of fun, hardest work I ever did. Even got to go to FC International Finals just outside of Rome (unfortunately not a cool track like Monza or San Marino the year I went, but no complaints!).

Cyril - a friend once almost bought a Larini system for his 308, but in contacting them directly, they didn't respond soon enough, and when they did, he had already bought a replacement ANSA.

But the Larini sure is good looking. How does its sound compare to either the ANSA or Tubi (both of which we have experience with)??

Tazandjan - I don't know about "pro", but certainly a lot of experience. As one of our car owners once said, "This is the coolest thing I've ever done!"

Sounds like you're going to have a blast on the new team! It's always a tremendous amount of work but loads of fun and a great learning experience.

Sorry to hear that your friend with the 308 didn't get answered fast enough to pickup the Larini System. I can say that we are here in the USA, carrying stock out of Las Vegas, NV and although we're not going to have everything on the shelf, we do our best to keep the most common systems here and we're available by phone and email. So I'm certain we can provide excellent service to the FLife crowd.

In general, the Larini offers a bit more F-1 Scream than the Tubi, less vibration / resonance and a fantastic build quality. The Ansa exhaust is a bit more tame in comparison and the build is quite different compared to something like the Tubi or Larini.

In the end exhaust is a very subjective thing... there will always be die hard fans of a particular brand and each system is a balance between tone, power, resonance, looks, build quality, price, etc... I do think that Larini is probably the best at capturing a good balance between them all.

Another advantage is that Larini typically makes several products for each model. i.e. Sport Mufflers, DeCats, Sport Cats, Link Pipes, Manifolds, etc... so you can put together a great system tuned to your tastes.
