Default Hello from Houston, I see a few familiar names around these parts

I missed a few of you from the other Ferrari forum, so I thought I'd come over to check it out. Picked up an 07 612 a few months ago. Can't seem to post a pic from my iPhone. Will post a few later.

I just got home from a family vacation in the bay area. Wish I had the 612 to drive around your area; had to drive Kia mini van rental instead. I major blow to my ego.

Welcome to FLife. Is the 612 an F1 or manual?

Here are a few snap shots I just took. My 348SS rests above my 612 in my tight garage. I need more space for future additions.

haha

Nice Scaglietti!

I have never seen the polished modulars - I switched my modulars to challenge and they guy who repaired one little nick has lost all four wheels!

Was that a factory option?

Jerry- Nice 612 and welcome to Ferrari Life. From the wheels, it looks like your car has the HGTS package, which means she should handle well and sound great.

Good to see another old friend.

I think is has the HGTS package, but not sure. I don't have the window sticker. Boardwalk delivered the car. Is there a way I could tell for sure. It looks like it's got the standard exhaust to me (tail pipes have single walls and black mesh).

A Ferrari dealer can pull the original invoice which will show all the factory options.

When I bought mine the salesperson said it had Tubi's with sport and was told it was a factory Champagne std. color hence the stupid name I am stuck with now.

At the dealer they printed the build sheet it had the HGT pkg & Nuvolari special paint - 35k for those two alone - along with other extra's ... I got lucky!

Your car in red looks great ... polished modulars and yellow tach brakes shields etc - someone knew how to spec a Ferrari - well done

Doug- Could have been worse, you could be Ingrid612, which would have caused all kinds of confusion.

Jerry- Unfortunately, looks like it does not have HGTS, which includes the sport exhaust Doug was referenceing. I thought the ball polished wheels were only available with the HGTS/C (C has CCMS) option, but looks like it was a separate option, as well.

Packages:
* *HGTS Packageincludes: Sports Exhausts, Modular Wheel Rims 19″ with Sport Tires, Colored Brake Calipers, Specific Suspension Control ECU, Revised F1 Gearbox Software with Shorter Gear Shift times.
* * *HGTC Packageincludes: Carbon-Ceramic Brake Discs, CCM System Mono-block Brake Calipers, Sports Exhaust, Ball-polished Modular Wheel Rims 19″ with Sport Tires, Color Brake Calipers, Specific Suspension Control ECU and Revised F1 Gearbox Software with Shorter Gear Shift times.

612 HGTS/C tailpipes look like these on my 575M. Did not have a good photo of Doug's tailpipes.
