Hello all,

First off I'd like to say this probably one of the best forums I have read on cars (any make). Amazing to see the wide spectrum of experiences and opinions.

I am nearing my first Ferrari purchase and have been using the piles of posts to narrow down my choices. I have always wanted one since I was a child and have only just realized the financial stability that will allow me to own one.

I live in Toronto, Canada. I am a mining executive, and I have not bought yet though I am trying to get to the point soon as summer is about to arrive.

I am looking at '85 308GTS QVs North America wide (will fly and drive back from anywhere). I am still trying to figure out if I should use a classic car dealer or deal with individuals.

Just last month, I was invited to the Canadian Embassy, Tokyo where the heads of University of Toronto came to give a seminar. My older son is attending University of Victoria in BC currently.

Searching for F car is half the fun. Do your research and enjoy the search. There are many owners and knowledgable members here so ask for help if necessary. Good luck with your finding. w/ smiles Jimmy

Thank you all for the greetings. If someone in NA spots an 83'-85' 308 GTS for sale, let me know please, as well if anyone knows of a reputable seller, that would be appreciated as well.
