Hello guys, I just bought my first Ferrari a few weeks ago, a '95 348 Spider. She has just been serviced by Ron in Atlanta, and is to be loaded on a truck and shipped to WA today. I am soo excited; in less than a week the girl will be here! She has clocked just over 18k miles, and is in absolute stunning condition throughout. I still have my Hasegawa plastic model of a 348 ts which I build some 15 years back... I guess it was destined I got a real 348 :-) Cheers, Frode Last edited by Frode; 03-03-2011 at 11:17 AM. Congrats on the new ride man, welcome to F-Life! I've always had a (not so) secret love for the 348. They're a blast to drive. |

After a looong wait, she arrived late Friday afternoon. As the shipper pulled up, some neighbors started gathering curious of what kind of car they were dropping off and for who.. It had been raining steady for the last week, but today was somewhat dry and the sun was even making an appearance as the car was unloaded. I was nervous, and overjoyed. I sat in, and was ready to start her for the first time while thinking; I own a Ferrari! My heart was pounding, threatening to jump out of my chest... We made it around the neighborhood, after some arguing with the 2nd gear. I should have known :-) After the shipper left, me and my wife took her for a ride. The emission test station closed in 50 minutes and we needed to drive her warm first and fill gas. At the gas station we could not get the gas cap door open... Who would have known she has to be running for the button to work. Duh.. :-) The next half hour we cruised around, warming her up, receiving waves and thumbs up from some fellow drivers. I have to admit I was a bit proud. She passed emissions with flying colors. This first weekend we only put 70 miles on her. It has been raining a lot so we didn't take her out except for a little drive on Saturday. (I know, she won't melt... but but.) Haven't had a chance to take some good pics yet. They will come soon, as the weather improves. |

Nice looking car, I wouldn't drive mine in the rain with the open rear engine cover and the alternator at the bottom of the car, I've spent the week in the rain also, can't wait to get home tomorrow in sunny Phoenix! I look forward to more pictures.
