Default Hello fellow ferrari worshipers

I have been a Ferrari fan since 12 yrs old when my Dad's friend parked his new 308GTS outside. Sat in the car for about an hour just admiring it.
Have not owned one yet but hopefully will in the next few months. I have already been reading some interesting information on this forum and everyone appears helpful and so passionate about these wonderful cars. It looks like my journey prior to my purchase will be almost as exciting as the purchase itself.

welcome and please stop by one of our get togethers. we had one last night with about 10 people in attendance. This is about the worst time of year, so it might be spring before much is happening. Probably a good time to buy a car though. Lot of experienced, helpful car guys in your area. None of them worship ferrari that I know of though. If you can do it, cavallino is in january and would be a very good experience for a newbie. I will be posting a thread in the mid atlantic section to coordinate local guys going down. I think it's a no brainer with $150 rt tickets and cheap hotels available. and palm beach in january isn't such a hard sell.

ps. you may want to contact one of our sponsors here, Competizione and tell them of your plans to buy a ferrari. I'm sure they would be an excellent resource for guidance, purchase and maintenance. They can help you with what to look for and what to avoid in a used ferrari.
