First week in a 2006 F430 coupe. It has 6,000 miles and is amazing. I'll miss the M6 but this is in a different league. Purchased it from Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, CT. I look forward to to the world of Ferraris.

Congrats, love the darker color: NOW. some requests: 1. Your impressions vs the BMW in your own terms of 'differnet league' let it be said. 2. Never seen the shields mounted like that on 430. Granucci, Regarding your questions: 1. The M6 was a smoother, more insular ride. The suspension was softer even on the sport setting. At almost 4000lbs it had less torque in the mid-range. It was less connected but smoother and quieter in the cabin. I miss the bluetooth, satellite radio, big Nav screen but am now too busy driving to care much! 2. There has been no body work and the shields are embedded and rolled in. I can only assume this is stock; I suppose it could be later addition but it is done perfectly when seen up close. |

Fantastic. Just reminds me, even after having driven and admired the 458, what a fantastic car the F430 is. Been a fan ever since the first released press photo. Onno |

Hi and welcome - Im a relative "newbie" to this site myself, and also a newbie to Ferrari ownership, having recently bought an F430 myself. Your photos have reminded me that even after a few weeks of ownership and some of the best weather we have had in the UK for some years, I still haven't taken any decent photos of the car, and only have a single Iphone photograph of it on the drive. I must make a point of getting some decent photos next time the sun is out. Ive been too busy making excuses just to take it out and drive when the weather has been fine. Ill bet you will be just the same - any excuse to take it out for a drive! |

| Really? Once i graduated from college and left taxachussetts and the massholes, I have never been back and don't plan to until the politics in that state change. ![]() Back on topic, congratulations on the new fcar! Make sure you drive her as it was intended to be driven and get a good radar detector! |

| Nope if you look closely you can see the indentation on the body panels.

Redtrman, Hilarious comment on the "Massholes". I moved here three years ago from California. You've obviously spent some time here There is a V1 hardwired but there seems to be quite a bit of laser off of the Cape. As this car will be driven (not a garage queen) I may need to look into laser countermeasures. Not a daily driver but I can't drive it enough at this point. Gordon |

Congrats on the 430 Gordon. Looks fantastic. Ex BMW man myself, must have been through at least 10 of them in as many years, some M series too. No comparison to an F-car though... Safe driving.

I'm normally not a fan of Ferrari in any color other than red. That's just me. But, your F430 looks fantastic in TDF Blue with those yelllow calipers _________________________ 1983 Euro 308 GTBi QV red/black s/n 44151 |
