Hi Andrew,

As far as the oil spill here (I am a mere 12 miles from the coast of south LA), I am experiencing/witnessing a very fast downward spiral in my workload. Down 70% in less than two months. And though the oil has not impacted me "directly" per se, the oil spill has caused a tremendous amount of emotional distress... I volunteer as Wildlife / Bird Rehab & Transport and it is heart-wrenching... I have cried nearly every afternoon/night after what I have seen starting each day, at daybreak.

For those that can help, please visit online with the International Bird Rescue Research Center (IBRRC) and Marine Mammal Center (MMC) to bring immediate relief to wildlife in need.

Donations (of any kind; any amount) are tremendously needed with the National Wildlife Federation, the Nature Conservancy, et al. ANYONE that needs links, resources, contacts please email me and I will be happy to assist anyone:
