Hello Everyone, I joined about a month ago and have been avidly reading the exchanges here. What a fantastic site and source of information. I am beginning the process of acquiring my first Ferrari so look forward to participation on this site as a means of smoothing the process. A Navy Pilot by trade, I'm originally from California but now call DC home. Current cars include a 64 Jaguar MK II, a 64 Land Rover, a 67 Triumph TR4A, and my current project, a 58 Jaguar 150S roadster (hence the callsign). Look forward to meeting you all on the boards. Regards, David |

ya' know I was going to say helo or COD ![]() You probably spent a few hours, perhaps, flying D-patterns off the Starboard hmm. I'm guessing, from your collection, you want one of two models: All old metal, no plastic saddle for you: Gotta talk to Jimmy or Boxer or Andrew on collector series, but DINO comes to mind unless you have a banker you been hiding. Matter of fact you'll need a banker for the Dino. or If a newer model: 308 328 Series. They are easy to maintain, nice drivers and look timeless. Mondials are more a bargain, price wise, but not sure your tastes there...but I like them. IF you want a really interesting vehicle, might want to test drive a 456. Not being prejudice. Personally I don't see 348 355 in your future. that'll be five dolla' UPDATE Here's your five dollars back: Ok, just saw your inquiry to the 360. Get it looked at. Yeah, 3000 hours give or take a few. I only miss flying now, oh... six or seven times a day. Eight tops. Can't say I miss Starboard D though. Still on active duty, I can't afford a true 60's classic. Although maybe some day... A Dino is the dream. Considered a 355 but the thought of maintenance drove me to the 360. The 456 was a close second. Mondial third. Looks like my 360 post is getting some legs, a couple members have already done their networking magic and are sending me Intel. Thanks for the help, I'll keep you posted. |

Thanks Boxer, that's actually how I found this site. I was talking to Mike Sheehan and he mentioned both the forum and the guides. I've read just about all the 360 liturature I could get my hands on (355 and 456 to boot). BTW, I was stationed with the RN and RM back in the early 90's. Lived in Penzance and Exmouth. "Hoofing time" as they say, life in Cornwall was pretty sweet. Although I don't miss for a second humping a 70 pound pack around Bodmin Moor! |

David, welcome to The Life. I I am also a pilot (multi-engine land/helicopter instrument-rated). I now fly a Testarossa and 360 Modena. I live ~ 6miles from the USNA. A group of Tifosi and aviation buffs are getting together at Culpeper, VA airport for a warbirds open house. A buddy of mine owns a T-28; his friend is ex-Navy astronaut and also owns a T-28 and 360 Modena. You might see Art Nallis and his Harrier on July 10 - from 10am-3pm. Expect ~18 Ferrari's on display in the hangar and on the apron w/the warbirds. Come joins us if you can. Read the event details in the FL Mid-Atlantic region posts. Warplanes & Ferraris - Jul 10 - cool event Glad to have you aboard sir! Bravo Zulu, 360 & TR Cars & Coffee at CITY DOCK ANNAPOLIS 9am-noon Every Sunday F-CHAT Exile now living the Ferrari Life.
