Afternoon All, Glad I found this place, hoping for a bit of advice. I currently own an E Type Jag XKE Coupe. I will be keeping it but I am really thinking about getting a Ferrari! It needs to be classy and it needs to be from the 60's or 70's in Royal Blue. Have heard a 250 GT may be the one I want. What sort of budget will I need for this? Many thanks in advance for any answers. |

Roche, Welcome to FerrariLife. There are several variants for the "250 GT" for example: SWB LWB TdF Coupe PF Cabrio PF Lusso It will greatly depend on what you want. Any of the above mentioned can cost upwards to 1.2 million or more. Be sure to ask in the vintage area. |

Hello Roche! The 250 is definitely popular - I like the 250 California, and a couple of days ago I was privy to see a '63 Lusso (wee doggies granny). For awhile, I owned a British Racing Green 1967 XK-E roadster Series 2. Being English, it definitely had its quirks, but I loved it - especially the dash toggle switches and wire wheels. It was fun to start (key turned, throttle side switch, and push button starter). Yep, that was a fun car Welcome to Ferrari Life. http://ferrarilife.com/classified/list.php?id=67 Michael _________________________ 1983 Euro 308 GTBi QV red/black s/n 44151 |
